His / her functions will be: The job holder is responsible for calculating and maintaining control of an expenditure budget for the local department under his/her direct control and for agreeing it with the Aerospace Technical Support Manager Europe or Americas or others World region. Additionally the job holder will assist others in the marketing group to formulate budgets for specific projects, such as product introduction and qualification programmes. The job holder is the direct interface with the R & T departments on matters of user specification, product trials and new product introduction. The job holder controls a local direct reporting team, to which he/she allocates projects according to the specific knowledge and competencies of the group. He/She will also call on the technical support network further afield for assistance with specific tasks.
