Projects include commercial (office, retail, industrial) income properties, multi-residential income properties, construction projects and development projects of which a number will be folded into a private REIT structure. SCOPE: The management team has expertise in real estate acquisition, finance, construction, development and asset management. Depending on the project, the Company will function either as the Project/Property/Asset Manager or as (at a minimum) an Investor Project Monitor and remain appropriately involved in all projects from start to finish. We seek a Senior Construction Executive with experience in mixed-use retail/commercial and residential assets. You have a solid track record selecting contractors and coordinating with architects, engineers and related project professionals to ensure compliance with the construction plan and including project compliance with zoning laws and other regulatory and legal requirements. You are responsible for establishing estimates, budgets, and timetables as related to the construction plans of each project. EXPERIENCE: The current 2017 project plan has a 1MM sq. ft. of new mixed-use build however the executive team’s approach requires a construction professional skilled in executing project plans for “LEED” suburban projects including project cost advisory, procurement, approvals of revisions and project management through to hand-over for commissioning. Physical & planning due diligence as well as design development, project cost estimation and construction over-sight are critical elements in the job scope. EDUCATION: Business Administration studies with a Civil Engineering or Architectural certification in Project Management would be preferred. It would be advantageous if the candidate possessed a certification in LEED’s or within their ten years of successful construction experience has build sustainable structures.
