Lane: Driver Trainer Average Miles: 5,000/week Home Time: 3-4 days every 3-4 weeks Job Description Duties include but are not limited to: * Teach apprentices how to safely and efficiently drive a truck in accordance to the state and local laws. * Drive trucks to pick up and deliver goods and materials. Read a map and assure safe navigation through various communities. * Route daily assignments to assure all customers expecting a pick up receive expected services. * Load and unload materials from trucks. Assure placement of materials in truck meet safety standards for transporting. * Perform daily service check of vehicles; assuring vehicle is in safe running order before leaving home base. * Perform minor service on assigned vehicle such as adding fluids, securing gas, replacing wipers etc. * Supervise and provide training to assistants. * Perform other duties as assigned to assure efficiency of the program.
