As an experienced Estimator you will also be responsible for reviewing and analysing tender specifications, drawings and relevant special conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates and sales submissions.. Responsibilities will include: • Design project drawings and information in accordance with company standards and client specifications • Prepare accurate cost estimates and sales submissions. • Prepare and submit, as necessary, descriptive and informative "Tender Estimate Summary" sheets highlighting tender inclusions/exclusions and cost estimate summaries. • Follow up 'Tender Estimate Summary' in a consistent and timely manner and, as necessary, provide tender submission status forecast to the Estimating / Engineering Manager. • Investigate and prepare as required alternative design proposals and tender cost submissions. • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best possible pricing. • Actively participate in 'Post Contract Reviews' and the updating of estimate procedures and pricing structures. • Completion of technical tasks on time and with accuracy in calculations and completion of data with adherence to standard design, gathering of facts/data and compilation methods.
